The Raspberry Pi Debug Probe is a cost-effective, all-in-one USB to serial debugger and

UART bridge. The hardware and cabling required to support "plug and play" debugging

of Raspberry Pi Pico and other microcontroller - and microprocessor-based platforms are provided.

The Raspberry Pi Debug Probe provides a processor serial debug interface (by default, this

is the ARM Serial Line debug interface) and an industry standard UART interface. Both

interfaces use a 3-pin debug connector, as specified in the Raspberry Pi3 Pin Debug Interface

specification.

The Raspberry Pi Debug Probe is a USB device that provides a UART serial port and a standard

Arm Serial Line Debug (SWD) interface. The probe is designed for simple, solderless, plug and

play debugging. It has the following characteristics:

·USB to ARM Serial Line debugging (SWD) port

·USB to UART bridge

· Compatible with CMSIS-DAP standard

Use with OpenOCD and other tools that support CMSIS-DAP

· Open source, easy to upgrade firmware
