VL53L1X is an advanced time of flight (ToF) laser ranging sensor. It is a miniature ToF sensor, measuring range up to 4 m, fast measurement frequency up to 50 Hz, it uses a miniature reflow package, integrated SPAD receiver array, 940 nm stealth Class1 laser transmitter, Physical infrared filters and optical elements provide excellent ranging performance in a variety of ambient lighting conditions and provide a variety of window covering options. Unlike traditional infrared sensors, the VL53L1X uses STToF technology to measure range regardless of target color and reflectivity. The ROI size can also be programmed on the receiver array, allowing the sensor FoV to be reduced.
