Product Description

The PiCAN board provides CAN-Bus function for Raspberry Pi. It uses Microchip MCP2515 CAN controller with MCP2551 CAN transceiver. The connection is made through DB9 or 4-directional screw terminals. The board also provides 5v 1A SMPS which can be connected through screw terminals or The DB9 connector powers the Pi well. Easy to install the SocketCAN driver, programming can be done in C or Python
