① Beacon can be used directly when powered on. Long press the button in the middle above the beacon, flashing three times to turn it on and once to turn it off.

*The power on method for some models is to turn on by turning the switch to ON, and the light above will flash three times.

The NRF software tutorial introduces the steps to modify a name, which can be used to modify other parameters.

*To modify the name, you need to enter: 11+corresponding to ASCII code.

*Modify the UUID and MAC address by directly entering the corresponding values without the need for base conversion.

*Due to the fact that MAJOR and MINOR are consecutive decimal values, they need to be converted to hexadecimal during the conversion process. For example: major=10002, converted to 2712, minor=31, converted to 001F. You need to input: 14+2712001FD8. D8 is the dbm of RSSI at 1 meter, so it does not need to be modified by default.

⑤ 【 Common errors 】: No signal, unable to connect

Please investigate several reasons first:

1. Is the beacon powered on? Is there a flickering light? (Flashing lights indicate successful startup)

Can the built-in Bluetooth of the phone detect beacons? (If possible, it indicates that the beacon is working properly)

3. Set the RSSI range of the software to the appropriate position, and have the phone approached the beacon. Can you receive the signal? (Reducing the RSSI signal reception range is to filter out nearby interference signals)
