The Beaglebone Black Rev C version is a development kit based on the AM3358 processor. The processor integrates the ARM Cortex-A8 core up to 1GHz and provides a wealth of peripheral interfaces. The expansion interfaces of the Chinese version of BB-Black include network port, USB Host, USB OTG, TF card interface, serial port, JTAG interface (default is not soldered), HDMI D Type interface, eMMC, ADC, I2C, SPI, PWM and LCD screen interface .

The general-purpose interface includes 4 groups of general-purpose input and output interfaces (GPIO), each group of GPIO module provides 32 dedicated general-purpose interface input and output pins, so general-purpose GPIO can be up to 128 (4x32) pins. Programmable real-time unit and industrial communication subsystem (PRU-ICSS) contains two 32-bit RISC cores (programmable real-time unit, or PRUs), memory, terminal controller and internal peripherals that can support more peripheral interfaces and protocols .
