5A MPPT Solar Panel Controller DC-DC Step-down CC/CV Charging Module Display LED

New force,5A step-down constant voltage constant current module, with MPPT function, with solar panels to charge the battery can increase the charging current more than double, effectively shorten the charging time, reduce the volume of solar panels. It can charge batteries, lithium batteries, etc., with rotating light control, convenient observation of charging status. Can be equipped with multi-function voltmeter, input voltage, output voltage, output current, output power can be visually displayed, completely can be used away from the multimeter. Can be used as high power LED driver module.

Module parameters:

Module name: 5A step-down constant voltage constant current MPPT

Module nature: Non-isolated BUCK module (BUCK)

Input voltage: 6-36V

Output voltage: 1.25-32V continuously adjustable, (default output 5V)

1.25-32V Fixed delivery with adjustable output

MPPT voltage setting range: 6-36V

Output constant current range: 0.05-5A Long-term working current is recommended within 3A

(Output constant current is 3A)

Output turning lamp range: 0.01-5A (turning lamp current is 0.3A) The current range will have a little error due to the difference in part parameters.

Operating temperature: -40~+85 degrees

Operating frequency: 180KHz

Conversion efficiency: 95% (efficiency is related to input and output voltage, current and pressure difference)

Short circuit protection: Yes (limit current to set constant current value)

Overtemperature protection: Yes (automatically turn off output after overtemperature)

Input reverse protection: none (please insert diode in input if necessary)

Output anti-reverse protection: None, the output battery must be connected to the anti-reverse diode, otherwise it will burn the module! Remember! (There is a reserved anti-backfilling diode position, you can add yourself if needed.)

Charging indicator: red light when charging, green light when full. The turn light detection mode is current. When the solar panel is used for power supply, the solar hour charging current is also very small, lower than the turn lamp current, and the green light will also be on, but it is not full at this time, please pay attention to the distinction. Charging current can be seen more directly with a live meter.

Installation method: 4 3mm screws

Wiring mode: Wiring terminal (welding wire output when matching shell) IN is input, OUT is output

Module size: L 60mm W 31mm H 22mm (excluding watch head)

Note: The current detection of the module is low-end detection, please do not short-wire the input negative electrode and the output negative electrode directly!

Scope of application:

1, DIY a voltage regulator power supply, with constant current function, not afraid of short circuit during use, can protect the load.

2. Power your electronic devices.

3, charge a variety of batteries, according to different voltage and capacity of the battery set charging voltage and charging current, with charging indicator function, convenient observation of charging status.

4, use solar panel power supply to charge a variety of batteries, with MPPT function, can increase the charging current more than double. With constant current function, can prevent battery overcharge, effectively protect the battery.

5, drive high-power LED, can be free series parallel combination,

6, as a car power supply, for your mobile phone or a variety of digital products power supply.

Operating instructions:

Method of setting voltage, current and turning lamp: (see the above illustration)

If the module has no output voltage, please turn the MPPT potentiometer clockwise to have voltage output.

1, set the output voltage: according to the floating charge voltage value of the battery you want to charge, or the voltage value of the LED after series and parallel, adjust the constant voltage potentiometer (CV), set the output voltage to the required voltage. (in case of no load)

2, set the turn lamp current indicator: after setting the output voltage, the CC potentiometer counterclockwise adjustment of about 20 turns, with a multimeter 20A current short-circuit output, adjust the CC potentiometer to the current you need to turn the lamp, and then adjust the turn lamp electric potentiometer, until just green.

3, set the constant current value: After adjusting the lamp current, the multimeter 20A current file is still short-circuit output, (with voltage, ammeter direct wire short-circuit output can be) adjust the CC potentiometer to the current value you need to set. (When the output current is set by the short-circuit method, the actual charging current will be smaller than the short-circuit setting current, because the battery has a residual voltage, if you want to set the accurate charging current, please use the discharged battery to set the output current after receiving the output.)

Note: The voltage should be higher than 1.25V when the constant current is set, otherwise the constant current function will fail.

4, set MPPT voltage value:

A, the method of setting with adjustable voltage regulator power supply: adjust the adjustable voltage regulator power supply to the voltage value to be set (such as 18V), the output is not connected to the load, in the case of the output voltage of the module, counterclockwise adjust the MPPT set potentiometer to the critical point where the output voltage is just reduced.

B, the method of direct setting with solar panels: the input is directly connected to the solar panel, the output voltage is set according to the load, the light on the solar panel is blocked, and the output is connected to the load. Multimeter measures the solar panel output voltage (cut to input voltage display with voltmeter), adjust the MPPT potentiometer to the solar panel voltage to the power point voltage. (The actual power point voltage of the solar panel will be lower than the nominal electricity, such as 18V solar panels, the power point will be about 17.5V,)

You can also adjust the MPPT value by measuring the output current, string the multimeter current file between the output and the load (with the meter head can be switched to the current display), and adjust the MPPT potentiometer back and forth to the output current to the value.

Note: When the MPPT value is adjusted directly with the solar panel, when the power emitted by the solar panel is greater than the load power, please first block part of the light on the Taipan to reduce the power of the solar panel, so as to adjust the MPPT value.
