TPA3255 is a high-performance Class-D power amplifier chip, which has Class-D efficiency and can bring true high-end sound quality circuits. The device features advanced integrated feedback design and a proprietary high-speed gate driver error correction function (PurePath ™ Ultra HD). This technology allows the device to maintain ultra-low distortion throughout the entire audio frequency band while exhibiting perfect sound quality. The device operates in AD mode. When THD is 10%, it can drive up to two 315W / 4R loads and two 150W (unclipped power) / 8R loads, and has a 2 VRMS analog input interface to support high-performance DAC (Eg TI's PCM5242) seamless connection. In addition to excellent audio performance, the TPA3255 also has the advantages of high power efficiency and ultra-low power level idle loss (less than 2.5W). This can be achieved by 85mR MOSFET and optimized gate driver scheme. Compared with the traditional discrete implementation scheme, this scheme can significantly reduce idle loss.
